Bonjour and welcome to you all... Web voyagers!
Our new association (APGTQ, which stands for Québec
Provincial Association of B&B's) and this Web site have
been created in order to serve you better.
APGTQ, which operates on a volontary basis, is an independent
and dynamic group, which aims at serving its members in all twenty
regions of the province of Québec.
APGTQ wants you to discover the distinctive features of
the B&B's owned by its innkeepers.
In the province of Québec alone, there are 1667 B&B's
waiting to welcome you in as many diversified ways with their 6000
personalized bedrooms and a large selection of home made, inventive
and gourmet, breakfasts... all of which account for the success
of this lodging concept.
Many of you in your travels have already experienced and enjoyed
room and breakfast in a residential dwelling...it is your home away
from home!
You will make new discoveries every time you visit a region, city
or village... and above all, you will always be welcomed by our
hospitable innkeepers. Have a good trip!

What is a typical B&B in the province of Québec ?
A B&B is a private family dwelling composed of one to a maximum
of five bedrooms, where guests are welcomed and served by its owners-occupiers.
Posted rates (excluding taxes) include the room for one night and
breakfast. Certain establishments offer shared or private bathrooms
An outdoor sign (yellow lettering on a blue background) displays
the name of the B&B, along with the classification (one to five
Suns) issued by the provincial tourism authority (Corporation de
l'industrie touristique du Québec - www.CITQ.qc.ca).
Each establishment is inspected every 2 years based on 200 predetermined
criteria.
