Fernie is the heart of the Canadian Rocky Mountains.

A beautiful historic mining town in transition. Some of the older building have been restored to their original splendor and shops and restaurants abound.

From the historic Main Street you look directly at Fernie Alpine Resort, located only 3 miles from town. The whole area is a four season playground, idealy situated for those of you who are interested in outdoor activities. Skiing, boarding, back country sking, biking, hiking, kayaking, rafting, fly fishing, and wildlife viewing are a few of the activities.

About the Association

The Fernie Bed & Breakfast Association is an organization of B & B owners in the Fernie area.

The goals of the Association are as follows:

-To allow area B & B owners to get to know each other and each others accommodations

-To allow owners to discuss items of common interest.

-To set and enforce minimum accommodation standards.

-To collectively market and promote member Bed & Breakfasts.

Mission Statement:

Our members will provide travelers with a charming and unique home-away-from-home that includes a nutritious breakfast, warm ambiance, hospitable hosts, and the interesting company of other guests.
