A Bed & Breakfast Holiday in Beaver Valley

- an affordable alternative!

Canoeing on the Beaver River

In a time of economic ups and downs one of the first things to go is the yearly holiday. But at a time like this it is what we most need-a time to get away, relax, and recharge the batteries. Ontario’s Bed & Breakfasts offer a wonderful inexpensive holiday for couples, families, and even small groups of friends or family.

Beaver Valley Accommodation is a group of B&Bs that give guests the opportunity to spend a week away from home at a reasonable price. They offer such options as a country retreat, a stay in an elegant village Victorian B&B, a holiday at beautiful Lake Eugenia, or a stay in an original refurbished log cabin. Each of these members of the association provides exceptional service, with excellent accommodation, crisp linens, and mouth watering breakfasts. You choose whether you want to be pampered or be adventuresome, or perhaps, a little of both.

A fabulous day for fishing!

Why would you choose a B&B
for a holiday?

Many of our B&Bs offer unique experiences due to their location or their interesting hosts. Both Maxwell’s Cabin and A Lakeside Holiday have an artist in residence with an indoor studio where you can arrange for a lesson or purchase an original oil painting. Ansaku B&B has a stained glass artist in residence and Georgian Manor’s hostess has a pottery studio and outstanding gardens.

Model railroad found at Bed and Brunch Lake Eugenia

Award winning apple pie from Jean-Claude at 21 North

Bed & Brunch at Lake Eugenia has a fantastic model railroad set up which will delight both young and old. Lovingly restored, Millhollow overlooks the beautiful Bighead River. Tahitian Noni is known for its fresh honey and hand crafted beeswax candles. Jean-Claude of 21 North is well known for his prize winning desserts & dinners and his terraced gardens, while Hillside B&B is a stunning 1880 Victorian home with lovely antiques. Acres of sunflowers offers a charming private chalet next to the original farmhouse and pond. The latest member, Treehouse, is steps from the lake and offers a suite with children in mind.

Enjoy the hot tub!

Enjoy the sauna!

While most people associate a B&B with an overnight stay, the members of Beaver Valley Accommodation pride themselves on giving guests a wonderful holiday. Longer stays of 3-7 nights mean a reduction in daily rates so that you can have a wonderful holiday for as little as $110.00 per night for a couple, including breakfast. Larger places also offer discounts for longer stays for a family, two couples, or a group. Many places offer additional meals or a BBQ where you can prepare your own dinner.

The inspiring countryside!

The surrounding countryside and villages of Eugenia, Meaford, Thornbury, and Markdale provide a wealth of scenic spots such as Georgian Bay, The Beaver Valley, Lake Eugenia, Eugenia Falls, and the Bruce Trail, all within minutes of each B&B. The cities of Collingwood, and Owen Sound are within a half hour drive. Theater, Music, Artist studios, Antiques and excellent restaurants abound. Fishing and boating, campfires by the lake, or just being lazy in the sun – what a choice!

The romantic sunsets!

When you stay closer to home you also save on travel costs and traveling time. Your B&B hosts know their area and will be pleased to help you plan your visit so that you can find the hidden treasures of Ontario. So pack up the camera, bring family, children and friends and be prepared to have a fantastic holiday.
