We stayed for one night on June 2, 2019 and were more than pleased with the room, home and breakfast. Louise and Peter were very friendly and congenial and we spent some time chatting with them. Breakfast was very good and tasty. Would stay here again if we were in the area.

- Carole Murry/James Greenwood, from Brantford, Ontario 23 June 2019

We are in awe and appreciation of the love that Louise and Peter put into their business! We stayed in both the cottages and the B and B, both were immaculate, welcoming, and comfortable! Peter and Louise are kind, thoughtful, hospitable, and genuine. We will continue to come back to this place, PEI, and to stay where the beds are adorned with lovingly made quilts, breakfast is delicious, and one is made to feel so completely welcome. Thank you!

- Tami Thompson, 30 August 2018

This Bed & Breakfast was truly a diamond in the rough. Room was immaculate. Hosts were more than congenial, they made us feel like one of the family. We would recommend this B & B to anyone wanting a cozy, relaxing time with wonderful breakfasts. We were MORE than satisfied.

- Barry and Joan Breland, from Kentucky, U.S.A. 1 September 2017

From our guest book June 18, 2016 What a charming B&B. You have both created and continue to develop. Many thanks for all that you are doing to support us on our cycling trip, which begins tomorrow. Our room (spring)is so cheerful, clean and comfortable. We also appreciate that you are such a bicycle friendly host and hostess! with many thanks

- Volkmar & Elaine, from Stratford, Ontario 19 June 2016

Peter & Louise were excellent hosts for my husband and myself when we stayed with them in October. Even though they both were not feeling up to par, they left nothing to want. Louise kindly offered to heat up our pizza, and then set an elegant table for serving it, complete with wine glassed for our bottle. In the morning Peter cooked up an egg omelette, coffee, juice, yogurt with strawberries. I hope Peter & Louise are feeling much better and want to thank them again for their warm hospitality.

- Marian, from Stratford, PEI 17 November 2015

Wonderful place to say. Came up from NH to visit family and friends. We were greeted by Peter and Louis Mallette. They made us feel welcome right away. The cottage was well equipped with everything we needed, clean and comfortable. We'll stay here anytime we're in the area. Highly recommend.

- The Henry's, 21 July 2014

We both stayed in the cottage for a few days. The place was spotless Everything was there that we needed. Towels pillow cases& sheets flicking in the wind on the clothes line. wow Home away from home. The property was lovely .. little birds flickering from tree to tree. A delight to my eyes as a photographer. The owners were so friendly and helpful with places to go and how to get there, He even brought over his lobster pot for me to cook out doors, What more can one ask for Thank you both. A lovely place to stay & and nice folks.

- Norma & Owen Knight, from Goose Bay Labrador 18 September 2013

Louise and Peter's B&B is a wonderful place to rest after a long day's driving. The rooms are wonderful, decorated in the most enchanting hand-made quilts. Our personal favourite was the Winter Room with beautiful log cabin quilts in blue. Breakfast was wonderful. Louise and Peter were very accommodating with my husband's lactose intolerance and went out of their way to create a wonderful breakfast. Thanks to acquaintances we met at breakfast, we went to a fantastic Lobster supper. We highly recommend this B&B.

- Barb Kawasoe, from Toronto, Ontario 27 March 2013

I haven't stayed here.Several of my clients have.I have never heard a negative word about this establishment. They go out of their way to please !!

- George larter, from stratford 3 October 2012

Breakfast at Murphy's Inn was simply delightful. The way they prepare their meals is like being at a high class gourmet restaurant. To compliment their meals, Louise makes her own biscuits and jams "delicious". If you love home made waffles you will enjoy Peters waffles topped with fresh fruit and cream. Louise and Peter made it a real treat staying at the Inn.

- Carmen Murphy-Walsh, from Smiths Falls, On. 26 July 2012

Our stay at your B&B was memorable....love those many quilts, too! The added hospitality, knowledge of the community and offers to enjoy more of the surrounding area are greatly appreciated. Thanks for making our stay special and we tell our friends about your wonderful home. It was also great to have a covered and secure storage for our cycles. That was a thoughtful offer. Thank you very much.

We spent our first and last nights in PEI (we biked the Confederation Trail) with Peter and Louise Mallette of Murphy's Tourist Home & Cottages. Their hospitality is unbeatable; the rooms are five-star plus quality (with gorgeous homemade quilts, no less) at three star prices; and their four course breakfasts of homemade waffles, muffins, biscuits/eggs have to be the best in the U.S. and Canada! Our stay there was the perfect way to begin and end our PEI adventure!!
