backstage at the Festival Theatre or the costume warehouse on a tour.

Spend "A day
in the garden" on September 7 visiting designer gardens, sampling
food and wine, participating in demonstrations and events. Dragon Boat
races encompass Lake Victoria on September 14 and 15 with over
100 teams stroking to the steady beat of the drum to the finish line.

Information Centre, your guide to walking, cycling and skiing trails throughout

the banks of the Avon River where Art in the Park is exhibited and graceful
swans graze at the water's edge. Pack your clubs for a round of golf.
Maybe you prefer sampling the bounty of the harvest at McCully's Hill
Farm where you can slow the pace on a horse drawn wagon ride through the
International Women's Festival will make its debut in Stratford
with amazing speakers, workshops and an incredible marketplace October
3 - 6, 2002. Get in touch with the wise and wondrous woman within.
View The Quilt Project, 199 beautiful quilts on display in Stratford until
the end of October, or plan to attend the auction of these quilts on November
16 where proceeds go to Breast Cancer support. Exhibitions at the Stratford-Perth
Museum explore the Underground Railway. Painting, embroidery and tapestries
are on display at Gallery Stratford. Visit the many independent shops
throughout the city. An Antique Warehouse, book shops, gifts shops and
galleries offer variety you will not want to miss.
