JANUARY AND FEBRUARY........

The Beat Goes On .....
January and February are the heart of winter in Winnipeg and make no mistake about it, the beat goes on as you take in the Beatles Mystery Tour at Celebrations Dinner Theatre

Let's not forget that January is the month of Ukrainian Christmas (January 6 to 14). Alycia's Restaurant has some of the best traditional Ukrainian food and was loved by John Candy!

If hockey is more your style, the Manitoba Moose play 12 home games at the MTS Centre between January 14 and February 14.

In case you missed Halloween, time warp yourself over the Manitoba Theatre Centre for almost the whole month of January! The Rocky Horror Picture Show is playing from January 4 to 27!

The Month of Love .....
February brings in the month of love - so take your sweetheart to the Barenaked Ladies concert at the MTS centre on February 13 and stay overnight at one of our heritage homes.

Of course the concert is smack dab in the middle of The Festival du Voyageur (February 9 to 18) — Western Canada's largest French Winter Carnival! Ice sculptures adorn the city streets, traditional French games and activities can be found throughout the French Quarter (photo courtesy of Festival du Voyageur Inc).

Perhaps the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra is where you might like to spend an evening taking the International New Music Festival (February 11 to 16).
On February 24 you can hit both ends of the sound spectrum with the beautiful orchestral repertoire of Belle Voci Opera at the Centennial Concert Hall or the raw horsepower of "Monster Jam" at the MTS Centre on the same night!
